It's easy to ping people you know for a meeting
It gets annoying because it keeps buzzing
We solved not everyone getting meeting notifications
I like their polling feature which is not present in other softwares
Direct messaging or chat feature does its work but not so great.
We used Adobe Connect for all our production activities with Dev Ops teams. It is a great platform to meet and collaborate.
We are able to create webinars don’t require the attendees to download software.
The backend is slow. You have to create different rooms and events, which seems to create extra steps. The transitions and fonts don’t always match up with PowerPoint.
We are able to produce attractive webinars for lead generation.
I like that Adobe Connect allows for meetings and enables you to set the level of participation for all attendees
Everytime I use it, it seems that there are issues getting people logged in or connected, or they can't hear the audio. We're usually able to resolve it, but it doesn't seem as user friendly as some other options.
Allows for virtual meetings and professional development. I am able to attend meetings with colleagues in different ares of the state and country without having to actually be present.
Seems to run on lower tier systems so it’s pretty versatile
Sometimes I have difficulty muting my mic, which can be awkward when meeting with strangers.
Online training and connecting those that can’t meet in person.
Being able to communicate with our executive team from 5 different states at one time
Sometimes it can run a little slow and it would freeze at times.
Being able to communicate once or twice a week and being able to see everyone. That we can get more done than having to set up different phone calls
I like the ability to record sessions, and track attendees
It sometimes lags during sessions. I'd also like a smoother upload or screen share feature.
We use Adobe Connect to do monthly training videos to all our customers. It helps us stay on top of what's going on with them, & release new info to them.
I like the product for PC's but Mac user's are now having issues with the screen sharing and the logging
Mac interface functionality within APP. Was not reliable and now has stopped functionaing properly when sharing muti-media slides and videos'.
the mac users
Overall flexibility on the platform is good to showcase different things.
Clunky to join for the first time if you do not have the application installed.
E-Learning provides the best application and use for Adobe Connect.
I have used Adobe Connect for running a number of meetings and allowing staff to tune in virtually. The software provides everything that we need without overloading the software with useless items. The file and screen sharing features are extremely useful, as well as the ability to record and share sessions, and chat with participants during presentations.
The software seems to be a bit buggy some of the time. The users really have to have some technical knowledge in order to get the best experience out of the software. Many times our participants will be dropped intermittently during a session. Sometimes the screen sharing feature causes the program to crash. We've also had a number of people who tried to use the software without a headset and microphone, which usually caused communication issues. I have often found myself trying to troubleshoot volume/audio problems during the middle of a meeting.
This is a great collaboration tool that allows staff to attend meetings from pretty much anywhere! It is really useful to be able to communicate virtually. The software provides everything necessary to run a good virtual meeting.
ADobe connect allows many people to be able to get together for a web conference
Adobe connect does not always function as it should.
Connecting with others
Very easy to share screen with other users, also a good tool for recording video or audio tutorials, as there is a record meeting function.
Many clients I've worked with have had technical difficulties while using Adobe Connect.
Webinars and presentations can be shared with clients all over the world.
It works as a fairly efficient tool for holding online class meetings.
When multiple students are online trying to share something across the bandwidth makes things difficult. Having a better way to share videos or pages would be ideal.
No problem solving, just holding classes.
The simple user interface and reliability of the available features are strong.
The app, document, and screen sharing capabilities can be clunky, and lags in response time and audio/video transmission often lags.
Delivering synchronous elearning and conducting virtual meetings, which has increased productivity, attendance, and information retention.
If you are already an Adobe user it is great that you can now use adobe connect to create content or learn all on the same platform. It has the potental for adobe to be a one stop shop for some.
Adobe connect is a monster of an app so far. I think it will take time for users to switch from other platforms. There isnt really anything unqiue about it to draw users.
Instead of ysing mutltiple platforms I can use just one platform. That makes it easier on me, the people I work with and clients that I have. A lot of people have adobe so its convenient.
It was nice to be able and customize the room as the producer. There were many tools that we could use to engage our audience and keep the speaker aware of what the audience was thinking.
Not as customizable for the attendees. We also did not like having to use the application for our speakers. We work with many older, not tech-savvy speakers, and the platform was very difficult for them to manage as it wasn't like others that they have used. The application on the desktop looks like it was from the early 2000s, and it added another step to our process. We did not like the inability to verify attendance using codes or notices. We are an accrediting agency, and we need those to get our customers their credits. Overall, we ended up going with an entirely web-based delivery platform. This has made a HUGE difference in our customer satisfaction and experience.
We needed to use an online delivery platform, but we wanted to manage the process. We had contracted that process out before the pandemic, but with the huge increase in online event volume, we needed something that we could control and operate ourselves. We realized the massive cost savings this allowed and gave us ownership on the product and process.
it is a sometimes stable platform, breakout rooms
instability, lack of tools, audio issues
audio and microphone issues when everything else works on my computer and an inability to fix them.
Easy to use and learn basic functionality. General functionality- moving between breakout rooms, connecting video and voice, sharing files, writing notes, using chatboxes- is relatively simple and painless. Adobe connect room can be shared with a web URL. We use the breakout rooms to separate students into individual study sessions, and moving between each student and keeping their video/voice/text/files separate is easy and painless. Getting new users onto the Adobe Connect platform is also pretty easy.
Other users have had stability/connectivity issues when using the web browser version. When connectivity is poor, users may disconnect or audio quality may decrease to the point that they're unintelilgible. Occasionally files stored on server fail to upload when media sharing. Impossible for multiple users to write on the notes app at the same time. Some pods/modules lack some ease-of-use features, such as the ability to drag select/select multiple files and mass delete them from the history.
Easily connect to other users remotely. Ability to share files and mark them up with other users. Multiple ways to connect with other users, including video/voice/text chat.
Easy to learn how to use the platform for host and presenter
Not able to adapt to varied formats - examples PowerPoint styles
Providing Education to members
They will work with companies to customize as needed. The features needed for LMS are included.
Connection is faulty and audio isn't great, although the updates have helped.
We use it as LMS for virtual education. It works as an all i one where you can communicate with students through chat, webcam, audio, and a shared screen area.
