Can do batch processing, powerful tools for image organization
Limited pixel editing and limited offline functionality
Photo editing and organization
The light features. Lighting and how the backgrounds can be improved! The conversion to other types of files. Lightroom makes a regular picture look professional!
I dislike that Photoshop Lightroom is not very straightforward as to how to get to the tools quickly and easily. The UI experience is not the best, but it keeps improving. The lack of AI-powered tools.
Lightroom solves the problem of getting the lighting and position of the picture just right faster than Photoshop. If that is all I need. It speeds the process of making my good quality pictures, even better when there is something off, or when I want to give the same picture a different feel!
I love how quickly I am able to curate, organize, and sort photos from a shoot. Then I can easily edit the photos to match each other, make style choices and corrections, and color grade if I want. From there, it is easy to batch export, name, and convert.
The import system could be easier. I wish settings, plugins, keyboard shortcuts, etc could be cloud linked so you can use multiple computers. This would back moving between systems easier. This would model other adobe apps.
I use this to go through photoshoots and photo editing, then exporting. It is the best tool on marketing to do all of these things in one easy-to-use space. You can also round trip files to photoshop to do more advanced editing as needed.
The easiness and versatility of the software and how easy it is to complete certain tasks with it. It provides a variety of options that can help facilitate certain projects
The main thing I dislike about adobe softwares in general is the constant crashing or errors that pop up every now and then added to the lack of customer support.
An easy tool for new and experienced designers and photographers to create a brand new vision, image or graphic for the world and other companies to see. It's a simple yet effective tool.
The switching option and the ease of use is awesome
Nothing at this point in time, its brilliant for now
Spot removal, red eye correction, graduated filters, radial filters, and adjustment brushing.
Very powerful technology which helps photo editing a lot easier for pro and serious photographers. Getting hold of all the features may be time-consuming and may look overwhelming but once you get a hold of all the features, it's really amazing how much you can do with this tool. Lightroom automatically saves your pictures to the cloud which is one of the best features and gives you lot more flexibility.
Could be a little pricey for some people. It crashes sometimes which is annoying.
Personal photo editing. For prints and for social media sometimes.
I like how I can categorize my images and edit them all in one place.
It would be great if there were some AI suggested tags that you could go through just to save time.
Categorizing images, editing images to match brand style, collaboration.
Adobe lightroom is the best photo editor because it has best presets for images and collages.
Adobe lightroom has a very expensive monthly subscription.
It helps in editing photos more efficiently and i can perform action in bulk.
I like the ease of use and tones of features its having. Also now its loading faster in my computer. On previuous versions its having some what smaller loading time
I like the features and the new tools its having right now. Also some of the new features inlcuding the sketch and converting speed is also faster. The one thing i dislike is the speed only
Basically i am a designer. So i am using it on daily basis. So its solving my design tasks and logo creation creating websites and mobile apps design all its fullfilling
It allows us to edit your photos professional way and gives you the best result.
Nothing to dislike about it. It has most of feature of photoshop
I have been using this app from few months and it helps me to edit my old days photos professionally.
Lightroom allows you to edit pictures professionally.
There can be a learning curve if you are switching from photoshop to Lightroom.
Cell phones can now take quality pictures that Lightroom allows you to edit to look professional saving you money!
Very easy to understand for someone completely new to photo editing
Transferability of skills between Lightroom and the full blown photoshop are limited. You'll have to relearn the tool all over again
Within two minutes I can have a very professional looking image that I clicked from my phone
Being able to easily learn and make changes to images as needed - great for marketing and advertising purposes. I use it for event posters all the time! Great fun and easy
Learning can take some time but stick to it. Not all intuitive, but there are videos online that can help too.
Editing photos and marketing materials for advertising purposes
I love the fact that it is simple and easy to use especially for beginners like me. It allows me to import, edit, batch and output my images from one window. It has amazing tools that make my pictures pop
I think some features should be made free for people who are not photographers but love to edit their pictures. They should make it cheaper and work on the slowness as it sometimes hang
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom has helped to increase the quality of the pictures that I took, thereby helping my organization to tell a good story around our programs and increasing our social brand awareness
Some of the features are just exactly what I was wanting and not getting in something like Procreate or other apps. a family member recommended this to me while I was wanting to edit holiday photos/trip photos and it is great
I think on mobile devices, (mobile phones in particular) the mobile experience could be designed better. When I'm trying to make edits to something near the top edge of the photo, it's also the very top edge of my screen and the menu is there as well. You can't get the top edge of the photograph to just be in the middle of the screen for easier access and precision. Other than that and a little bit of a learning curve, it's great!
getting cleaner, more professional photos for use on social media. Ease of removing unwanted background elements and lighting/filtering. I haven't been able to easily do some of these things with other programs so the fact that it was pretty easy to pick up is nice!
Definitely the easiest way for me to edit many photos at the same time, especially if I want to give them all the same treatment (black and white with similar contrast levels).
The usability is still not intuitive to me. I'm not an expert user, but I have been casually using it for some time, and I feel like I'm always having to fumble around with finding how to do the simplest things like loading and exporting my photos
Saving time and efficiently doing batch tasks for the quickest result.
We strive to create as much unity as possible in our photos on the website. Because the photos were taken at different times, the unit is quickly lost due to different light, for example. With Adobe Lightroom, we can apply a lot of post-processing to create unity in the photos that we place on our website, use for newsletters and social media, and in our webshop.
There is nothing in itself that we do not like. Lightroom has a lot of options with which you can go in all directions. It may take some getting used to in the beginning to master the possibilities, but if you give them enough time and attention, you will learn quickly. If there's anything worth mentioning, it might be the price.
In the past, there was too much of a difference in quality in the photos, especially for the website and social media, which made it all seem like a mess. It was rather amateurish. With Lightroom we manage to display everything in a much more professional way, despite the fact that we are not always that way in terms of photography.
It is effortless to use the online photo editor. Within minutes my photos are edited to perfection!
I find that it is almost easier to use the Phone App version than the desktop version.
Being able to edit my photos promptly is something that Adobe Photoshop Lightroom has solved. It also is able to save my last edits so if I want to use the same settings it is there ready for me.
Being able to utilize presets to improve photos and make them more appealing.
Having to find presets outside of the app as opposed to use in app presets.
Being able to use average photos and make them quality and worth posting for social media and marketing.
You can perfectly edit your pictures and it gives very sober clarity and texture to images
Sometimes my software gets hangs but I suppose it's my systems issue
I am in the process of learning this tool so exploring its features slowly, user friendly gui helps you to understand the each feature and it's use
