It’s automatic working behind the scenes
There is a glitch that just happened today in my abandoned cart workflow but thankfully my marketing consultant figured it out
More conversions to sales
Workflow automations are excellent for simple to complex automation Drip is easy and intuitive to use Great documentation and customer service The new dark mode is a great quality of life feature Designing emails is quick and easy, especially with templates Simple things like searchable form fields are everywhere, unlike some alternatives and competitors Using Drip feels quick and snappy; I'm never waiting for Drip to catch up to me
There's no way to add custom url parameters to links. It's restricted to only utm parameters (source, medium, campaign, and content) It's a little confusing that emails can be sent off as a "one off email" in a workflow or a campaign, which are separate from each other
Currently: Purchase confirmations and followups, relationship building We will definitely expand our use with the business!
I liked all the amazing features drip has to offer in regards to email marketing and funnels.
I dont like some of the difficulties I have with integration. Also it is a little pricey.
I am able to grow my email list exponentially. I can also integrate with Shopify which is super helpful to make extra sales.
The email creator for Drip is great, very drag and drop and customizable. The automation and workflows are also excellent. Drip really helps you visualize testing campaigns what's happening in a customer's journey.
I wish Drip had better analytics. They allow you to export and give good overall statistics, but it's very lacking in regards to creating clusters and deeper analytics.
Creating workflows for customers to go down through. Plus Drip's templates for workflows (like the abandoned cart one) are very good.
I like how visual Drip is. You are able to make broadcast and campaign emails with ease. It also integrates with just about anything, which is really helpful.
I've had trouble with my campaign emails going out earlier than the time scheduled. Also, Drip changed their pricing to a cheaper price point, and didn't change what I was being charged. It felt a little untruthful to keep charging me 2x the amount. I happened to find out later, and Drip changed what they were charging me. But no credit for the months of paying double.
I am managing and growing my email list for my blog. I like that everything is automated.
Easy workflows to build and segment various email lists.
Does not integrate as easily as other email providers with some Wordpress plugins.
We are able to target our email campaigns to specific audiences, and we have been able to customize our messaging for each target segment.
I love the workflow automations and how easy they are to set up.
It's a little bit of a learning curve for anyone who isn't tech-y.
I am using Drip for a 2-year long membership site with AccessAlly integrations. I no longer have to do anything at all when a new member signs up.
I like being able to build funnels and campaigns that allow different actions to be taken depending on what the subscriber decides to do. If gives a lot of potential possibilities for making future content and communication more targeted.
I think some of the email capture forms could be more customizable and/or attractive.
It allows me to target my email list with the most relevant content for each segment. The split test feature has been useful in determining the best headlines and copy to use.
I currently use Drip for two different brands. I love how in-depth it is and how much you can do with automation and workflows. It provides a lot of data and analytics so you can really see everything from ten feet tall. I love how they've added the ability to split test different headlines and the ability to resend emails to those who haven't opened the first one in the broadcast feature.
I've sent over my feedback with a list of improvements and they appreciated the feedback. Some of the issues I had were with the email builder. It doesn't save my settings and I constantly have to keep changing my font size and custom brand colors. These should be easy fixes so I hope they happen soon. I also wish there were more training tutorials on how to do specific tasks for their Shopify integration. Since they are looking to be the "E" CRM (E for e-commerce) you'd think they would have more training and email workflows built out than they currently do.
The major benefit of Drip is its ability to track and show you exactly each customer's journey is. I love the timeline that shows you visually what emails were opened, what links were clicked, and what items were purchased by the customer. It's helpful to analyze and see what's working and what's not. I haven't seen another CRM solve this problem like Drip does.
All the features are very easy to use, especially the new broadcast split testing tool. A much needed and welcomed addition.
Sometimes the interface lags and have to refresh the page, in particular when navigating the workflows. Would be great to get additional features to split testing in workflow.
Easier management of our email database, and communication with our users
It's an easy to use system with lots of flexibility for all my projects.
We've not used it long enough to 'dislike' anything
We are making sure that we can integrate a few softwares together and with drip it has been easy. we've used the tagging abilities to really create a great user experience.
Powerful automatons and segmentation. I like the tag feature and setup as well.
Steep learning curve. Pricing could be a little more transparent as well.
Automated a lot of our campaigns and follow ups, attached to Facebook audiences as well.
They have incredible customer support. The fact that they have chat support available 24/7 really makes a difference.
Depending on what you're using it for, the platform itself has its downsides, but for us it was a step forward from MailChimp and getting a lot of the functionality of solutions ten times more expensive (hubspot etc) for a fraction of the price.
Email marketing, automation, lead gen form management.
The reliability, easy-to-use platform and how it integrates with many other apps.
If you duplicate an email, the links have to be removed and re-added to change them
Providing more educational content to our current fitness customers. We've realized email marketing isn't dead, and is a very beneficial tool.
Makes setting up automatic emails a breeze, plugs into EVERYTHING
I wish that the visual builder was a little more straightforward. Buttons do not wrap completely within link.
We are sending out customized newsletters using an API that we developed in house, Drip was the perfect solution!
It's a really useful email marketing tool with a different approach than other tools.
Some times you need to make an action but there is no way to copy or move it so you need to rework it.
We are giving our customers more insights about their products
Their support team is quick to respond and account manager is very helpful. They constantly innovate new features and additions to the software and the user interface is easy to operate. We integrated our e-commerce with a custom API and the setup was not difficult for our programmers and we have the same capabilities as a Shopify or woocommerce integration which is nice.
Their liquid code for is a bit hard to understand since they don’t have an online guide so we mostly have to go through our account manager to ask what the code is for what we’re trying to achieve.
Customer engagement, attributing life time value, tracking lead engagement and tagging customers.
visual editor, ability to connect to various of software, zapier etc, customer support.
connection to leadpages isn’t the best, if we want to push more advanced information like tags (or other hidden fields) together with email and name
marketing automation, customer support, centralised comunication
Drip was very easy to integrate into our operations. The templates included gave us a number of examples that we could take and customise for our business. The automation in drip is so simple, yet so powerful.
At the begining we had a few struggles with the email formatting options, but the new email editor is great and its positive to see Drip continously improve the product.
General business broadcasts, automation to request reviews, lead magnet delivery and nurture campaigns. We are now in the process of testing the automation to identify and recover lost customers.
The product itself is solid and robust. I have frequent product growth suggestions that they receive and I have seen several implemented. The support team is responsive and helpful.
I am looking forward to more CRM friendly features in the future. They have started to roll a few out. More to come!
Managing our CRM and email marketing in one tool. Using it for marketing on our website has been a nice surprise
