I think the best part about shopify is the functionality and the ease to use the backend platform. You can add products to your eCommerce store in just a matter of minutes. You can also edit the Title tag and meta descriptions, add some good pictures of the product and your product page is ready. Just assign some products and add them to collections and you have a collection or a category page ready in matter of minutes.

I think the ability to not modify the robots.txt file and XML Sitemap is one of the limitations as those are dynamically generated. At times, there are some changes that need to be made and you don't have control over it.

There's really nothing to dislike of Shopify other than the monthly plans price, I wish it was free

Shopify is fixing the problem of having to code websites and they do it for you pretty by them doing the coding and you choosing the layouts of the website.

I like that you can connect to different types of fulfillment app like zendrop, importify, and spocket. It is fairly easy to post your product and you do not have to write every single detail because they export every product detail. I aso like the pre-made free template so you would not have to worry about how you want to build the look of your store

I don't like that it does not integrate directly with alie express, shopee and lazada since I have to use 3rd party app just to import product details and you have to go through 3rd party for fulfillment and it is becoming expensive.

It is solving the difficulty of building an online website with a store from scratch. I don't have to learn how to code or even figure out how I like my store to look because they have a free standard template and you can integrate it with most apps.

Shopify provides an all inclusive product, meaning you can get the website and payment processing in one place. The apps that you can add on to increase your store's functionality are great (you do have to keep them to a minimum to avoid a speed issue). Their blog and help system is top-notch so you can find things when you need them. I also like the theme environment. They have plenty of "free" themes to get you up and running, and you can also select from a huge list of developer based themes if you need more.

You do have to factor in the cost. Between their base plan and some required apps, there are startup costs you have to account for. You also have the processing fee to deal with. I don't like the change they made with not refunding your processing fee when a return is made. You need to keep that in mind when crafting your return policies or you will lose money on a return with a customer.

They have been keeping up with changes and new features. I have been happy with their continued development. I do like that Shopify now offers payment plans via their system. I already have Affirm setup (before Shopify added the new feature), but I think it will definitely help customers and retailers.

I'm in love with the Shopify Product and Theme Management Tools as this has been an absolute life saver especially going from a simple website builder such as Wix for our business it has an amazing integrated theme builder already pre-installed and doesn't have that grainy, basic look like Wix does.

In this case, the most confusing and one thing I don't like about Shopify is the shipping rates section as it can become very confusing however, in the end, it was all sorted by a Shopify staff member so was happy with the outcome.

Shopify is solving a lot of problems for me because coming from a very simple website building tool Shopify has allowed me to explore and be creative with my shop all whilst being a user-friendly platform I have no programming or website development experience and I developed my dream Shopify store all by myself.
