I really love all of the features that Teamwork has. I especially appreciate their incredibly fast support. Task management, milestone management, integrations, messaging, notebooks, risk management, workload management, and time management and billing are all great features that we use daily to run our business and keep up with work.
We didn't like the rollout of Teamwork Chat - we ended up switching to Slack. While we understand Teamwork Chat is still in beta, it doesn't have nearly the same number of features as Slack. The Slack integration just works better for us. If you don't need all of the features of Slack, then Teamwork Chat will work great. Teamwork Spaces is also a great integration for documentation. Teamwork CRM is also a simple, straightforward CRM. The only other thing we dislike is not having resource management for years now... however, this feature is coming very soon -- so this dislike was only temporary.
Account and project management; we use nearly every feature to manage projects along many users across different teams and partners. Teamwork is a great way to keep everything project related in one place.
Teamwork Projects is coherent and balanced. It enables a Quadrant II focus and makes it easy to adjust work when the schedule doesn't go as planned. It's also flexible and highly portable. Customer service is rock-solid. Coherence Use tags to identify roles, goals, and priorities. Link to, or display, your mission and vision in appropriate places. Immediately see what’s important in your Home area, custom dashboards, views with saved filters, and much more. Balance Easily identify where you’re spending, and where you plan to spend, your time to ensure your priorities are balanced and aligned with your mission and vision. Workload management helps prevent burnout. Teamwork Projects is generally work-focused, so I encourage you to use a separate tool with similar concepts that help maintain overall life balance. I personally use Todoist for tasks and Tmetric for time tracking (I’ll try to demonstrate that during a future Snack & Learn, including how I’ve aligned my personal projects and tasks with my personal mission statement). Quadrant II focus Tags make it easy to identify and review priorities and goals on a regular basis. People dimension Flexible prioritization options facilitate implementation, rather than creating guilt when the plan isn’t followed. That gives you more freedom and time to nourish relationships. Flexibility Easily customize Teamwork Projects to suit your style: board view or list view, custom home, dashboards, and project portfolios, filters to display exactly what’s important to you, and integrations to bring Teamwork into other apps that you prefer. Portability Accessible from any modern browser; mobile apps are also available
It's not entirely intuitive due to the number of features available, but that's to be expected of any highly capable system. It will take some time to learn, but the effort will pay off. Teamwork is currently missing some key project management features like robust automated reporting, resource management, and custom fields, but those are on the way and I'm very excited because Teamwork has had an excellent trajectory during our years of use.
Teamwork has enabled eSkillz to streamline processes and collaborate in a highly effective way.
We have a team and it is very helpful to work together and most important thing is we synchronized with each other. I would like to say that, it is very nice service and highly recommended to every teams.
I would link to say that we didn't found anything even not a single reason in this service to dislike the teamwork projects. It is very helpful. I hope the service never disappoint us.
Working on official assignments / project with team members. Its helpful, Easy to use
Team work is simple and easy to use tool for customer end and client end as well. easily we can add project and project specification file and data. we are use this tools last 3 years and we have payed membership for tools.
I have use team work last few year it okay for project management tools less functionality compare to other managment tools
I have mention some of point to help me team work Clear direction Open and honest communication Support risk taking and change Defined roles Mutually accountable Communicate freely Common goals Encourage differences in opinions
I've looked extensively for solutions that will provide the collaboration tools of the web but still have the standard project management and control capabilities you find in software's such as MS Project and Primavera. Teamwork ended up being that tool. It allows extensive collaboration, while still preserving some of the more "complicated" tools of Project Management such as Gant Charts, Risk Register, Timesheet etc. It's simple for simple projects and powerful enough for when you really need to get your PM groove on, Recommended for both Agile and traditional Project Managers alike.
The Gant chart could use some work. It's not friendly for exporting for presentations. Also it doesn't seem to enforce predecessors, they show the arrow but don't move the task which is really the most important thing.
Having a tool that my coders like to use and communicate and provide updates with it (team management) and at the same time I can use to control, and measure progress.
Very user friendly interfaces. Easily log tasks, without any guidance. It can edit even after logging tasks. Easily navigate to assigned project to track tasks and log times. Specially Teamwork time tracker is very useful time saving tool and the best feature it has built for desktop.
Nothing at all. I think I like most and all of features it has, But if can improve the chat, I believe it will become more user friendly and another best software tool.
Basically we use it to log times for task we do daily in software development cycle.
Love this app , love the customer service, i am very happy with this app. Love love love love love
I do not dislike anything about this app it is great and was great. my whole family loves it. Love love love love love love love
Nothing. Team projects are easer an dsmoother.
Teamwork provides our company with the control we need of the various projects we are delivering internally and for customers. There is also an accountability and activity transparency that I like. We have tried several other products to try and achieve this but all fell short.
I would love (and no doubt they will develop) better integration with Microsoft Office. Ultimately being able to drag project tasks into an outlook calendar. This is the way I work and plan my day/week. Right now I work across both platforms.
Transparency of effort in our company and a sense of control of what we are doing for our customers.
* Budget-friendly -- fee is assessed by the number of Projects, not by the number of Account Users -- we use this as a project management portal with our various strategic partners while working on different projects * The accompanying app is powerful and has almost all the features of the web version * Easy-to-use
* Alerts are not customize-able -- staff has complained that the alerts (both the subject line & body) they receive look intimidating, and often get so overwhelmed that they tend to ignore them altogether. * For the longest time, there was not a "template" feature where you can use a template to set up task lists or tasks. I think they just finally rolled out that feature recently. It was a pain to have to manually copy & paste and then have to edit everything.
* Internally, we use it to organize our projects, large & small. It's great as a storage of ideas, some of which become actionable projects, and then to further break them down to tasks that are assigned to different individuals * In collaboration with other strategic partners when working on projects together, it's great to have everything in one place, with everything updated, and comments/feedback to each task or subtask organized
Comprehensive features & UI/UX that are very-well thought-out, and it's clearly a labour of love for the Teamwork company because the product continues to evolve in a meaningful way; our projects And operations teams appreciate it more every day. Also, the Support is first-rate; responsive and very interested in working with you.
I can honestly say that neither I nor my team have a "dislike" of any aspect of Teamwork Projects. We do have feature requests, and have had minor issues with the mobile app(s) but since the Support team is so responsive the issues are easy to put in perspective - relative to how much Projects contributes to our efforts overall.
Centralized tool & standardized workflows for both projects and operations teams, reduced time searching for relevant info/materials, integration with other 'anchor' tools/products (ie G-Suite), and when client or vendor reps are looped-in as users it reduces status update requests, links their inquiries and feedback directly into their respective project, and the product conveys an image of well-organized professionalism.
Depth of features, good integrations. Easy to use and collaborate with others.
Some of the layouts of the pages could perhaps be improved
No issue being resolved at present
At Global PMI Partners (www.GPMIP.com), we have configured TeamWork to manage M&A integrations. The combination of a complete and flexible tool with reasonable pricing is a winning proposition for us. We have also built M&A carve-outs and trainings in the tools. We have implemented it on 100+ projects.
The mobile app is there, but I'm not really using it. It's a totally different interface and I can't find my way there. There is a very limited feature for adding expenses. It would be great if the tool would allow to upload expense notes.
At Global PMI Partners, we primarily use TeamWork for M&A integrations and M&A carve-outs, as well as for trainings on these subjects. Benefits include: detailed user management, easy task management, risk assessments, time tracking and invoicing, dashboard functionality and easy adoptions. We have been using TeamWork since 2013.
Teamwork is very intuitive and easy to use
There is nothing that I dislike about teamwork
I track my everyday tasks in my projects
I love that I can go to one place and get all the information I need about a project—task statuses, upcoming due dates, hours logged against it, related files and links, client information, communications, and next steps.
I wish that I could create billing categories for my team, separate from tasks, so that users would only see the billing categories when they log their hours, as opposed to task lists.
We have set up different templates for task lists that mirror our process workflow for each type of project. So if we have a website upgrade project, I have certain task list templates I copy into that project and the tasks are automatically populated, along with assigned persons, estimated hours and due dates.
The intuitive design that is constantly being improved. Continual well-considered and practical design and functionality changes to improve workplace efficiency.
Difficult to use Dragon Dictation in the system. It works, but only with frustrating work-around and cannot use HTML editor with Dragon.
Actual planning and management of our client projects.
Powerful and full-featured yet easy to use, well organized.
I can't really think of anything that I dislike about TW.
Helps us organize and schedule products and resources.
I can easily customize anything on it by changing colors and also to change everything on the projects with its amazing features. It gives me full ease to manage each type of project whether it’s a small scale or large scale as well. Billing options of this certain product is very useful in order to be in a convenient way. I like the interface of the application that assures that I get the best experience with it.
Each and every single highlight of the product is at it’s best. Sometimes I feel there are so many options on the screen that are immense useful and nothing is bothersome for me. I can easily make every certain group project onto it in a very unique and delicate way without harming the terms and conditions of any organization.
Everything is so much simple to use in this specific product. As for me it’s project management software so it enhances my expertise in that regard. With its features every type of group project could be easily managed and hence, each and every deadline could be reached. The dashboard of this software is so much amazing because it makes certain tags to view individuals where the progress of their work has been going on.
It breaks down each day/week for you so you never forget an assignment
Not everyone has access to edit tasks, sometimes that can be annoying
Not forgetting what you committed to do. Being able to assign other team members to help.
Teamwork makes it ridiculously easy to build and monitor project schedules. Their features allow you to zoom out to see the high-level views, or dive into the weeds with great specificity. And when things change, they make it easy to adjust your tasks + milestones as well. Teamwork really does build their tools with empathy in mind.
I wish that task templates were a bit simpler and more flexible to build and adjust. It's probably the main area where I find myself getting stuck or having to find workarounds.
In addition to building out project task lists, timelines, and milestones, Teamwork also helps me solve: - Workflow scheduling - Time-Tracking efficiencies - Some invoicing functions - Profitability monitoring - Forecasting
I honestly like how it's setup so our project manager can just handle things. I get work assigned, I do it, the interface makes it easy to track tasks and time, it's really a great tool for a growing agency or a giant one all the same.
Sometimes it's confusing when you have SO many things on your Dashboard. I know you can customize that but I rarely have time. I'd love there to be a quick zoom view or something that shows what's due to today, tomorror and the next day.
Client communication in there is pretty easy. Our team hubs everything so we don't lose things in the craziness of the day.
